"Lan Ficarra called me in 2022 inquiring whether I planned to list my rental property in East Brunswick for sale. I told her that I had a very good tenant whose lease does not end until summer 2023. And I also told her I already knew multiple agents in the area and I believe I had a good understanding of the local real estate market myself so the chances of me hiring Lan would be quite slim even if I decided to sell in the future. Lan was not discouraged by that. She asked if she can touch base with me periodically and keep me updated regarding the local market with no strings attached and I agreed. Fast forward to Spring of 2023, her knowledge in the market and her persistence impressed me so I decided to give her a chance and gave her the listing. The property was still tenant occupied and Lan immediately coordinated with the tenant and arranged professional photography and planned for open houses and showings. We had a lot of interest and I ended up receiving 8 very solid offers and the property closed significantly above asking price. Everything went very smoothly thanks to Lan’s professionalism. She listened to what I wanted, but also gave her professional feedback when I needed it. She is not one of those agents that push the seller to take the first good offer so she can lock in a sale. She is very hardworking and she also has very good relationships with other agents so the communication between the two sides is smooth.
